Every year, Calico partners with OneBlood to host on-site blood drives — events that turn a normal workday into a life-saving one. A single blood donation can help up to three patients, meaning just 24 units donated at a single drive has the potential to positively impact 72 lives. It costs nothing but a little time. And for the Calico team, it's just what you do when you care about the people around you.
Beyond blood drives, team members regularly volunteer to support causes like the United Way and its Stuff the Bus program, which collects donations of school supplies and other essential items for children, families, and teachers in need. And every holiday season, team members donate their time at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center.
Calico Coatings proudly supports Homes For Our Troops by presenting AJ Foyt Race For Our Troops, an annual private karting fundraiser held during Charlotte Race Week. Headlined by AJ Foyt Racing's Santino Ferrucci, the event brings together racing enthusiasts and supporters to raise funds for Homes For Our Troops and its mission to build and donate specially adapted homes for severely injured post-9/11 veterans. It's a meaningful way to combine our passion for racing with our commitment to giving back to those who have served our country.
